Text Box: The Goryu and Hakuba47 ski areas are interconnected by lifts and share the same lift ticket, giving skiers and boarders access to 19 lifts, including two gondolas. The area is suited to all levels of ability, with reliable snow falls, and modern infrastructure. We also suggest using the Hakuba Valley shuttle to try the other resorts in the area. Ticket prices are approximately half that of Australia   THE SNOWBIRD IS ONE OF ONLY A FEW PROPERTIES WHERE GUESTS CAN SKI BACK TO THE PENSION FROM THE GORYU SLOPES. THE VILLAGE SHUTTLE ALSO PICKS UP ONE DOOR AWAY GIVING QUICK ACCESS TO THE LIFTS. SNOWBIRD STAFF CAN ALSO ASSIST WITH TRANSPORT IN THE LOCAL AREA.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Text Box: Getting here   Goryu can be accessed from Tokyo either by Bullet Train to Nagano and then transfer by bus or private taxi, or by express train through Matsomuto to Hakuba. There is also a bus service from Shinjuku to Hakuba. Snowbird can assist with booking of transfers. May we suggest including some extra time to explore some of the great Japanese culture. Tokyo and Kyoto are two places worth spending some time in. SNOWBIRD  has free pickup and drop-off from the Rail Station or Bus Stop in Hakuba/Goryu
